Welcome to the Book Club! I love reading and I’ve come across a few gems that I think you’ll really enjoy. I wish I had known about these little treasures earlier on in life because, as we all know, there’s nothing quite like being informed, some of them being half educational. The books are all linked to Amazon in case you want to read them! Just click on the image.
- Tiffany’s Table Manners for Teenagers – Walter Hoving and Joe Eula
Although this book says “Teenagers”, I couldn’t put it down! It’s just a simple, quick read but done so beautifully. The little sketches are too darling and when you’re done, you’ll feel ready to tackle any situation that includes four forks and seven knives.
2. Orchids On A Budget – Marjorie Hillis
I’m currently on a major “darling little book” kick. The vintage ones are so sweet but so practical at the same time and they’re beautifully written too. If I had had this book as a young, single person, my life would’ve looked drastically different. I love Marjorie Hillis’ sassy but enthusiastic and matter-of-fact approach to life. Keep in mind this was written in the 1930’s so some things will feel out of touch for today, but the principles still apply. This is a great little read!
3. The Men In Your Life – Genevieve Antoine Dariaux
– I’ll let you know what I think! Still reading..
