Every fashion group preaches from the roof-tops that a major closet staple is a black blazer. The necessity is real, whether it’s a boyfriend fit or completely tailored to your body. Wearing a blazer in such a way that you don’t come across like a wannabe lawyer takes a little bit of crafting, but it’s totally do-able and the look is absolutely amazing.
Throw a blazer over a vintage tee with distressed denim and you have a classic cool-girl look. It’s the perfect accessory to a really bold look, for instance a heavily textured skirt or dress, perhaps something with really bold patterns.
I felt like this is the year of the girl boss for me, and I found this blazer just in time! There’s something uplifting and strengthening about wearing what you’re feeling. It encourages you to take bold steps and make risky decisions, that hopefully pay off in the long run.
Happy New Year!!
Apart from really elevating a look and giving your over style a total makeover, unique sweaters (ones with a special or different design or design element) are a timeless commodity.
You can dress any of these up or down depending on your situation and your wardrobe contents. I love pairing a unique sweater with a midi length pencil skirt and ankle boots. It creates a really fun, distinct look that stands out in a crowd. Dressing it down can be as easy as throwing on your favorite jeans and sneakers.

3 reasons to wear pajama style tops:
- They’re incredibly comfortable.
- Your street style repertoire will sky rocket.
- The semi disheveled look gives you a cool girl, “I can wear anything” vibe. Obviously what we’re striving for.
I recently acquired the perfect pajama top, it doesn’t have buttons but the collar has a nice deep neck making it less drab-y. The material is soft and cozy and the cuffs add a nice sophisticated touch. The color is a heavenly dark blue that looks perfect on soft winter skin. Comfort and style on point. Accessorize or layer with bold patterns and/or textures!

Check out these street style looks to get more inspiration. I especially love the last one. I’m already ready for summer!
I put a look together for an occasion where you may have to look a little classier but still a little relaxed. I’m totally obsessed with this cropped metallic knit tank, it gives the whole look a hollywood vibe when you pair it with these classic high waisted trousers and the vintage esq clutch. I would drape the blazer over your shoulders to polish it off.

I’ve had a love affair with all things earrings since I was a child, running around the house with my moms clip-ons and a scarf as a cape.
Oversized earrings have made a tremendous comeback. Dolce and Gabbana have been paving the way for years, but the rest of the populace have finally caught up to the exotic, the fabulous, the chic oversized earrings. There’s something pretty striking about a woman who can rock great accessories.
My favorite look is a tee, a pair of jeans, booties and a great pair of oversized earrings. They make a great statement piece without you losing the luxury of comfort.

I’m loving these styles from Mango and H&M!
You can find amazing pairs at Mango, Zara, H&M etc. etc.
When it comes to dressing for fall, you have the opportunity to drag some of your more summery things into the cooler weather with you, creating fun new looks as you go. I’ve been loving mules all summer and this outfit is the perfect way to incorporate it into a put together weekend look. Capes and ponchos are a huge trend this season, and throwing it over a sweater is an easy way to layer up against those cold drafts.

We moved into this gorgeous old house and I’m loving playing around with the different rooms. It has this captains house vibe to it so it inspired my sailor look. It’s all about detail! Experiment with different ways to tuck in a shirt, it’s one of those key pieces that everyone should at least have a couple of options in. This is a classic Ralph Lauren button up mens shirt that I stole from my husband back when we were friends.
I’m not a major fan of wearing anything on my legs other than anything denim. It being that I’ve majorly limited my wardrobe, I decided to play around with something other than jeans and pencil skirts. Hence the little chino. I”m not sure how I quite feel about it. They’re definitely a good alternative if you’re doing something that requires a touch more professionalism.
I paired these with a cropped boho inspired top I had that has tons of detail. Lots of tiny pleats, lace etc. I should’ve added some chunky accessories to add more texture but alas I did not. You could also do a little tank like the knit one from Zara to give it a more laid back look. You definitely want to stick to something that has a lot of texture, that way you keep the interest going and it doesn’t look too plain.
