I’m loving this look, how the shapes work together to create a visually intriguing outfit.
Cropped sweater and palazzo pants are a classic, chic look, whether summer or winter, that’ll always be in style. What I specifically love about this look is the casual dressy-ness of it. The sweater seems to be a bit more informal while the pants pick the look up nicely. Add the booties and some earrings with an interesting bag and you have a wholesome look. Add accessories for fun.

I’m having a major obsessive moment with all things cotton, lace and pretty. What I love about tops that have those details is that they’re so soft, feminine and dreamy. You could style them to be sexy (think pencil skirt, major heels) or down to earth (think denim and leather booties).
Due to the awful weather we’ve been having, I’m also kind of obsessed with being really cozy and warm. (Who am I kidding, I always want to be cozy.) Since it’s spring time you want to start shifting away from wearing very heavy, wintery sweaters that don’t necessarily speak of spring, or the coming summer. For this dilemma, I’ve switched over into wearing cardigans of all shapes and sizes though I keep the colors fresh, light and away from too many heavy wintery colors like browns, dark yellows, and reds. Go fresh with greens, creams, blues, bright reds etc.
Wear some dazzling feminine esq earrings, nude heels (for a fresh look) and a great bucket bag.

If you read the last article, (or watched any of the fashion weeks and street styles) you’d know that a major player in the events was the color red. Whether dark burgundy hues or bright red, it certainly propped up enough for people to notice. Not only that, but I think that since last year was so monochromatic, we’ve been looking for something to break us out of our bubble.
The reason for red? It’s bright, happy, playful, sensual, and more. A pop of red is a great way to spice up a look because it’s such a daring color. You’ll see someone wearing red as often as you’ll see a red car on the road. Not often. This is way it’s a fan favorite. Check out the look below to see how to wear red in a totally rad (that was weird..) way.
You’ll see I’ve incorporated all the major trends into this one look. The mules, the textured top, the feathery earrings and even a good solid bucket bag. The bucket bag will never go out of style because it’s been a wardrobe staple since carrying a handbag even became a thing. Invest a good black (or tan) one, they go with just about any outfit.
I love this pre-fall, end of summer look! Just when the weather is starting to get crispy (it was a whopping 15F in Alaska this week) and you can start wearing pants again because the sun isn’t making the material stick to your legs causing bodily harm. I’m hearing that the heat in LA is reaching apocalyptic measures. Elsewhere in the world, where the weather is mild and one can enjoy looking good without melting, style moves on, and this weeks look includes wearing sassy pants, flirty shoes and crop tops that have done more than their due this summer.
Why do I love this look? Because it’s chic, simple, easy and totally doable. Take this from a day to night look simply by adding a silky tank or sheer blouse and Bobs your uncle. Whether your strutting around the city, running errands or meeting up with friends, having fun pants ensure you’ll probably have a fun time.
